Any plans for 1/10 for 2010??

I ask this as I know there wasn't much happening in 2009 and I know there are a good number of racers here in this group that have cars, I am looking at starting a Nitro Spec Class much the same as was done in Ottawa. So it would be awesome to know if there are still any racers here that are looking to continue having great fun in this hobby.

Hi Sean,

 Yes we will have a 1/10 Nitro Sedan Class in 2010. We tried in the past a Spec RTR
class (HPI), but it did not work out because the cars are to fragile and because of the small investment, the type of person that buys this car, usually does not take it
serious enough to show up regularly.
 So, we will remain with the competition style chassis class.

Fair enough Enzo, thanks for the reply. Is there any chance that your regular 1/10 racers or any for that matter would be interested in racing at Pike River next summer?it was great fun this past summer but it was missing a good number of racers, I know if there were a good number more it would have made for some awesome racing for everyone involved. We only averaged 5-7 racers in Open .12 nitro this past summer. This was the reason for the spec idea but the open class will still be running, it would be great to have you take part Enzo along with a good number of your racers.

So are there no other members active on this site? I see there are 27 views but only Enzo has posted, I hope to see more action in the RC racing action next summer.

Well thats a relief, it would be great to see some new faces at Pike River next summer. I am hoping the in an effert to bring the hobby back to it's once thriving self we can work together to grow as a hole.
